Who we are
Crider Software ("we") runs Crider Software. This policy explains what we collect when you use the site and buy our software, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Account details you give us: name, business name, email address and, if you choose, a mobile phone number.
- Order details: what you bought, when, and the license keys we issued. We do not see or store your card number; payments are handled by Stripe on its own secure pages.
- Support tickets, forum posts, reviews and inquiries you send us.
- Technical details every website receives: your IP address, browser type and the pages you open, kept in server logs for a short time.
- Installed copies of our software check their license key with this site from time to time. That check sends the key, the software version and the web address of the installation, so we can confirm the license is genuine.
How we use it
- To deliver what you bought, issue and check license keys, and give support.
- To send you a code by text or email when you sign up, sign in with two-step verification, or verify your phone.
- To answer inquiries and improve the site. We do not sell or rent your details, and we do not send marketing texts.
Who else sees it
- Stripe (payments), our email provider (emails we send you) and Twilio (verification codes) each receive only what they need to do that job.
- We share details with nobody else unless the law requires it.
Cookies
The site uses one cookie to keep you signed in and your cart together. It does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Keeping it
Account and order records are kept while you have an account and for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Verification codes are deleted within a day.
Your choices
You can change your details in My account, turn two-step sign-in on or off, and ask us to close your account by contacting our support page.
