Terms of sale

These terms cover purchases from Crider Software, run by Crider Software. By buying, you agree to them.

What you are buying

A license to use the software named on your order, for one business, for the period shown (monthly, yearly, a longer period, or never-ending), with the plan, add-ons and limits you chose. The software itself stays our property; you may not resell, rent or share your license key.

License keys

Keys are issued to the business name you enter at checkout and shown in your account and in your receipt email. Installed copies check their key with us online now and then; a key that has ended, been cancelled or been replaced will stop passing that check. Keep your key private.

Renewals

A time-limited license ends on the date shown with your key. Buying again under the same business name adds time to the end of the current period. We do not charge your card automatically.

Upgrades and add-ons

Moving to a higher plan or adding an add-on part-way through a period is charged for the time left, and a new key replaces the old one.

Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and shown before any sales tax that may apply. Payment is taken by Stripe; we never see your card number. Discount codes apply as described when the code is entered.

Support and updates

Support is given through tickets in your account. New versions of the software are available to licenses that are current.

What we do not promise

The software is provided as it is, and we do not promise it is free of every fault or suits every purpose. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the license in the twelve months before the claim. We are not responsible for lost data, lost profits or indirect losses; please keep backups.

Accounts and the community forum

Keep your sign-in details private. We may remove posts or close accounts that break the forum's house rules or these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. Illinois law applies.
